Pakatan Harapan (PH) manifesto Part II ‘A New Deal for Sarawak’ is a photostate copy of initiative that BN in Sarawak has been working on for the Rakyat of Sarawak. We see it as a publicity stunt to pull in voters – and support for GE14 by harping on deals which Sarawak BN has managed to secured. There is nothing new in Pakatan Harapan manifesto, and what we see is just a replica of what we BN are doing.

Secretary of PH Sarawak Alan Ling propose to restore the territorial integrity and the devolution of powers in their Minifesto Part 2. BN Sarawak has long started the journey to restore our territorial rights, MA63 has always and is always been our main agenda especially from SUPP. Our Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg has initiated a special task force to sit down and discuss with Putrajaya to ascertain back Sarawakian rights. PM Datuk Seri Najib has also confirmed that Sarawakians will get back their rights.

Ling also mention devolution would cover areas which we BN have already taken serious action to address these issues.

1. Our civil services has always been employing Sarawakians to fill up vacancy in the civil department. Even at our GLC companies we have top and qualified Sarawakian filling up the jobs.

2. The Late Tok Nan has been championing the interest for our own oil and gas national oil company and getting back our natural resources from PETRONAS. We are already on the first step of realizing that with the establishment of PETROS. And people can see that PETROS has already started to work as just last week we sign an MOU with a Middle East company.

3. Civil infrastructure development, we know of the famous Pan Borneo project, and many more civil projects implemented all throughout the state. The Batang Lupar project, another big project to bring in development to that area is one of the many to mention.

4. BN has long implemented the Flying doctors, mobile clinics, clinic 1malaysia and many other upgrades of hospital and clinic in Sarawak.

This is just some of the things that BN has implemented successfully and now Pakatan Harapan wants to sing on the same success which we have brought. This shows Pakatan Harapan doesn’t have any aspiration and they only make wishful promises without any plans. Only BN can make this happen.

Sarawakian need to understand that what Pakatan Harapan is proposing is already being implemented. This just shows the ignorance of the opposition on what BN has already provided for the rakyat, being a west Malaysian opposition party they have never had the interest of the rakyat in their heart.

For many terms of both parliamentary and state elections, they used empty promises to get elected but after elected all they do for the people is to “tengok sahaja” with no tangible contributions for the people. The rakyat has been electing them for many terms now, but it has always been BN and SUPP honestly servicing the rakyat every week. The opposition party main agenda is just wanting to be the government and to make Anuar Ibrahim the Prime Minister.
