Housing for Batu Kitang area
A total of 122 units of single storey house, Project Kpg Bunga Rampai and 433 units of 7-storey PPR flats will be constructed in Batu Kitang area for the lower income group.
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang said the two housing projects were the brain child of Chief Minister, Datuk PAtinggi Datuk Amar Abang Johari.
He said this during a press conference with Housing Development Corporation (HDC) CEO Mohd Asman Ahmad at the Padawan municipal council yesterday.
Lo thanked the Chief Minister for keeping his promise for the Batu Kitang folks which he made before the State election and his caring attitude to upgrade the lower income group lives.
He said the project for Kpg Bunga Rampai cost RM23 million and the Landeh flat, a federal project, cost RM85 million.
Both projects will be expected to be completed by end of 2020 and work has started on the two projects.
