Courtesy call to Minister of Works
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Youth Central team led by its Chairman Michael Tiang, has recently made a courtesy call to Minister of Works, Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillahbin Yusofin Kuala Lumpur on 9 January.
During the visit, Fadillah, who is also Youth Chairman of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) expressed his wish to establish a strengthened and integrated force of youths within Sarawak’s BarisanNasional (BN).
The two youth leaders, from two vital component parties of the state’s coalition, have reached a consessus to reinforce and widen corroboration between PBB Youth and SUPP Youth.
After holding the top post of PBB Youth for several years, Fadillah also shared his experience to his counterpart in SUPP, along with his valuable insights on how to get youth together, and how to engage with youth through various activities and programs from time to time.
“After all, youth is important asset for the party to groom the future leaders of party and its successors.” He emphasised.
Beside the SUPP Youth Chairman, Michael Tiang was accompanied by Milton Foo as Youth Secretary General, Andrew Victor and Alex Chu, both as Youth Central Deputy Chairman.
