Ten families with around 30 people were made homeless and after informing the relevant authorities concerned, Ting ensured that they are moved to a more safer place.
Yesterday afternoon, Ting went with Miri Mayor, Adam Yii to see the seriousness of the landslide.
With Penghulu Hj Samad, the affected families, some who have stayed with friends, moved to the community hall for temporary shelter.
Ting also brought lunch for the group and give them his moral support that the authority will ensure safety measures are carried out to prevent more soil erosion in future.
