SUPP Mambong press statement

SUPP Mambong Branch, together with SUPP Mambong Branch Youth Section, is providing BR1M registration and updating service for the bidayuh community in mambong constituency. This is among one of the community service by the party for the benefit of residents in Mambong area. The SUPP BRIM Service counter was set up at the 1Malaysia Internet Centre, Bengoh Resettlement Scheme. Residents from BRS and nearby villages came to get their BR1M status updated and registered.

This exercise is the first time conduct by SUPP Mambong Youth as an initiative to help the Bidayuh community in Mambong. This is initiated because of the geographical location of villages are far from town to get assistance for BRiM registration.

According to Andrew Victor Nub, Mambong Youth Chief and Deputy Youth Central Chairman, this exercise shows that all community especially the Bidayuh community in Mambong must also receive this benefit provided by the government. “By bringing the service counter to the rural area shows the determination of SUPP in reaching out to the rural people rather than waiting for people to reach us”. Mambong Youth are committed to go all out to help the people in Mambong constituency.

In conjunction with BR1M service counter, SUPP Mambong Chistmas open house is also being held at Dewan Kampung Semban, BRS. The Christmas party is jointly organized together with JKKK Kpg Semban and other BN component parties are invited. This shows unity and support given by residents of BRS to SUPP and Barisan Nasional in preparation to face General Election.

Many other activities are being planned out by SUPP Mambong for Mambong constituency. This is in line with Party President’s message in this year’s TDC that SUPP is a New SUPP and that we all are committed to his call for a stronger Sarawak and a better nation.
