Richard Wee: it would be easier for UPP to join SUPP to reconcile
President of the Federation of Chinese Associations for Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Divisions Dato Richard Wee, called to the United People’s Party (UPP) to reconcile with SUPP and it would be easier if they rejoin SUPP.
Wee said that SUPP is already a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) , and it would make the reconciliation process less complicated if UPP was willing to go back to SUPP. If UPP wants to be a component party, they have to apply to get into it causing a lot of progress.
He called to both party members to set aside their differences and work it out in order to give the Chinese community a chance.
Wee said he had been appealing to the leaders of both SUPP and UPP to let bygones be bygones and look forward to a whole new chapter.
