Richard Wee: it would be easier for UPP to join SUPP to reconcile
President of the Federation of Chinese Associations for Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Divisions Dato Richard Wee, called to the United People’s Party (UPP) to reconcile with SUPP and it would be easier if they rejoin SUPP. Wee said that SUPP is already a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) , and it would make the reconciliation process less complicated if UPP was willing to go back to SUPP. 黄良杰：联民党回归人联党是最佳方式
晋汉连省华总会长拿督黄良杰强调，联民党领袖回归人联党，是两党和解的最佳方式。 他表示，这是因为人联党已经是国阵成员党，因此倘若联民党回归人联党，这有助于简化两党和解的程序。 “对我来说，若联民党回归人联党，这是最简单的方式，因为人联党已经是国阵成员党。如果是新政党，则需要重新申请加入国阵，这需要很多程序。” 黄良杰希望人联党和联民党领袖可以一起放下歧见，以华人政治新格局为重。 他说，若两党领袖可以忘记过去的恩怨，那么两党和解并非不可能的事。 他表示，他本身愿意协助推动两个华人政党的团结，而他也已经会见两党的领袖，反映华社的心声，即希望两党团结。 无论如何，他表示目前并没设下两党和解的期限。
