Support group for stroke patients
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang set up a support group for stroke patients in his area since last September.
So far there were four persons under the Support group with a volunteer nurse, Lucas Lee.
Lo paid a return visit to Roslan bin Toni aged 28 at Kampung Betong and was happy with his progress. When Roslan suffered a stroke in July last year, his car overturned into a ditch and he was bedridden for four months.
Roslan shows that he is able to stand after rehabilitation. His father has quit his job to take care of him.
Lo thanked all those who had assisted Roslan in their own ways and called for more volunteers to help such patients.
