Complaint of dilapidated road and illegal rubbish dump
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) was recently approached by the residents staying at Lorong 17, 30, 39 and 43, Jalan Stampin Baru within BDC Resettlement Scheme who complained of the uneven dilapidated road condition with numerous potholes and illegal rubbish dump at Lorong 30.
The residents had requested SUPP PCB to complain to the relevant authorities for the maintenance and repairs of the affected stretch of Lorong 17, 30, 39 and 43, Jalan Stampin Baru and for the removal of the illegal rubbish dump at Lorong 30. The residents also requested that proper signage be put up to warn irresponsible members of the public from illegally throwing rubbish along Lorong 30.
Following the request for assistance received, Wilfred Yap went to inspect and assess the situation with SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch members. The bad road condition of Lorong 17, 30, 39 and 43 and the illegal rubbish dump at Lorong 30 have been highlighted and brought up to the attention of Public Works Department and Majlis Perbandaran Kuching Selatan (MBKS) for their remedial action.
