Road repair near Sungai Tujuh Immigration Checkpoint
The potholes near Sungai Tujuh Immigration Checkpoint which was completed yesterday is a project that Miri City council (MCC) had undertaken to ease the plights of the people.
Miri Mayor, Adam Yii said the upgrading of roads to and from Sg. Tujuh Immigration check point should be under Federal government but there were too many complaints so the MCC had to start the project by coming up with its own funds.
He then went with the councillors, MCC engineers and the contractor to view the work done which cost RM9,000.
