Shortage of manpower at the Kuching Resident’s Office to be looked into
Minister of Local Government, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian will look into the shortage of manpower at the Kuching Resident’s Office in order to provide better administrative service delivery.
Dr Sim Kui Hian said he will bring the matter to the cabinet to solve the problem as without manpower, it would be difficult for them to render service to the people in an efficient way.
The Kuching Resident’s Office has jurisdiction over Kuching, Bau, Lundu and Sematan districts.
At the Resident office, Dr. Sim presented a letter appointing for Tan Joo Poi as a Temenggong for the Chinese community, witnessed by Kuching Resident Shukarmin Chasemon yesterday.
