New CM and SUPP
In coming Chief Minister, Tan Sri Adenan Satem spoke of his concern about the factions in SUPP and said the problem is now his to handle.
Adenam was talking in his first press conference Friday afternoon when he was asked about SUPP.
He said he will help to solve the SUPP internal problem when he took over as CM from Pehin Sri Taib Mahmud who will be the new Sarawak Governor.
“I have a few formula (to solve the SUPP problem) but i won’t announce it now.”
He said the Deputy Chief Minister post, made vacant by Tan Sri George Chan, who lost in the last State election, would be filled by a SUPP leader.
