沈桂贤走访石角老街分发月饼
石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤今日走访石角老街并派发中秋月饼给商家与民众。他是在人联党石角思邦分部主席林亚德和巴达旺市议会石角区市议员杨胜发陪同下，进行这项分派月饼。 他在与民众交流期间，除了为民众献上中秋佳节，希望大家健康平安之际，也简述当前的疫情情况。 “中秋佳节是华裔传统重要节庆之一，它有着团圆的意义，即便我们在疫情下，不能如以往那样大规模庆祝，但是这个中华文化节庆，还是有必要继续传承下去。” 他说，疫情的冲击，让我们进一步深刻体会身体健康的重要，只要大家健康平安，我们就可以快乐生活，达到家庭团圆，社会和谐目标。 沈桂贤高兴看到石角商家们都在遵守标准作业程序下进行营业和做好防疫措施，而民众也遵从指示戴上口罩。 “这些防疫措施非常重要，毕竟我们无法从肉眼看到病毒，只要做好防疫工作，我们就有多一层的保护，这对个人、家人和民众的健康都能起的保护作用。” 趁着中秋节来临之际，沈桂贤呼吁民众秉持中秋节的团结意义，大家团结一致，携手对抗疫情。
