陈超耀关注美里排水系统问题
砂旅游、艺术及文化部助理部长拿督陈超耀律师日前与美里水利灌溉局、美里市政局工程师和国油公司代表进行会议。 在美里河防洪工程计划之下，政府拨款3千万令吉改善北区一带的排水系统，治水区域涵盖范围逾100英亩。这项工程是由联邦政府批准和拨款，美里水利灌溉局负责，预料将会在今年杪或明年初进行招标。 陈超耀表示，当局除了改善上述排水系统之外，也将会在罗东邦卡拉兰及双溪巴翁兴建2个抽水站，水泵每秒可抽取3平方米水量，一旦该区一带发生水患，将可驱动抽水站排洪。他说，这是一项非常大的挑战工程，建设后希望能改善北区的水患问题。 他指出，本月3日北区一带就发生了严重水患，导致甘榜茜莱、甘榜柏里甘、甘榜史纳汀再也和甘榜史纳汀再也地区受到影响。同时，为了解决史纳汀路的水患问题，市政局将会在该道路进行填高1公里长的道路工程。而这项工程耗资达250万令吉，同时也建设排水系统。
