沈桂贤拜访石角老党员
砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤拜访石角区多位党资深元老，并赠送人联党创党60念纪念奖牌。 赖志华、黄双秀、张仁利和房石海等是当年石角分部(思故邦分部前身)的第一届执委成员，虽然已退位多年，但一直关心人联党，包括出席思故邦青年团去年举行的敬老晚宴。 人联党去年庆祝创党60周年，为了纪念和感谢一路来支持和维护人联党的资深党员，党中央制作了特别的纪念奖牌给入党60年的党员。 沈桂贤在思故邦分部主席林亚德和妇女组主席甲必丹温淑萍陪同下，拜访上述数位资深党员。 这些资深党员除了鼓励沈桂贤继续为党，为民服务，也赞扬他这几年来为石角做出的服务和贡献。

石角区州议员拿督斯里沈桂贤宣布，提升石角路戈迪帝路口（Jalan Ketitir）和乌达玛路第2巷排水系统工程计划已获得批准，而巴达旺市议会目前正处理相关 的公开招标和遴选承包商程序。 提升石角路戈迪帝路口排水系统将斥资80万令吉，而乌达玛路第2巷的提升工程，则将耗资44万令吉。 沈桂贤在前往上述地点听取巴达旺市议会官员及水利管理局的发展汇报后表示，认为该2个地区的排水系统不佳，所以在接获人民的投诉后，他便向政府提呈发展 报告，希望能够一劳永逸地解决相关问题。 “该2个地区现有的泥沟，无论是深度还是宽度，都不能承受越来越多的排水量，所以当地经常会出现严重积水 并影响交通系统的问题。” 他表示，一旦工程完成，当地民众长期面对的排水系统问题，就将能够迎刃而解。
