陈超耀巡视美里北区官立华小

砂拉越人民联合党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师日前上午巡视美里北区官立华小,了解该校的复课情形。 该校家教协会每天早上自愿性协助指挥交通,确保学生安全及交通流畅。陈超耀对此热心之举表示赞赏。 该校校长也向陈超耀介绍学校两部脸部识别体温机,其中一部是由陈超耀拨款赞助,另一部是学校校董会购置。 在校方安排下,一至三年级学生使用同一部机器,四至六年级学生则使用另一部机器,整个报到及扫描过程井然有序,而且非常迅速。 陈超耀感谢校长、教师及家长付出爱心,让学生顺利复课。

苏莉群:砂人民须自律维持冠病绿区地位

砂拉越首长政治秘书苏莉群指出,砂拉越再次转为疫情绿州,全砂人民有功劳,更不忘前线人员、无名英雄的付出。 她说,不管目前砂拉越是不是绿区,但全世界的疫情都还没有改善,前线人员还在努力,砂拉越人民须继续自律,让砂拉越加速远离疫情。 她发文告,对于有居心者质疑砂拉越的新冠病数据,这对消退疫情非但没有帮助,反而只会制造民众的更恐慌,甚至制造不实谣言。 她形容隐瞒疫情对砂拉越没有好处,砂拉越政府处理疫情程序也无需隐瞒。任何疑似病例,当局马上安排隔离,不会等到确诊才来做。若隐瞒疫情,万一有一天疫情爆发更难应付。 苏莉群指出,砂拉越在处理疫情和数据方面,一切的资讯和防范工作都是为了保护砂拉越人民。冠病病毒影响全世界,相信没有人愿意倒回封城的地步。 “我们要感恩前线人员无私的付出,还有全砂民的努力配合,才有今天的好转局势。我们希望砂拉越持续都是零病例。感恩默默付出的无名英雄。” 他呼吁砂拉越人民持续努力,严格遵守新常态及保持社交距离,以便能够继续压制新冠肺炎病毒,进而让更多商业领域能够在新常态作业模式下开放。最重要的是,砂拉越人民的谅解,合作与团结精神。尤其是在对抗冠病方面,人人都要扮演好自身的角色。 她说,砂拉越政府在落实多方面的严格管制用意就是为了砂拉越能尽快阻断疫情链。在疫情发生,与其提心吊胆,胡乱思想,埋怨过日子,或胡乱听信谣言,不如好好务实求真,努力正面思考,为家人为社区带来正能量。


叶耀星呼吁雇员捍卫自身权力

砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星日前接获8名私人公司员工寻求法律咨询及协助他们向雇主索取解雇赔偿。他们先前在一间补习中心任职,雇主在行动管制令期间临时终止雇佣关系。 叶耀星已代表这8名员工向劳工部反映他们的情况并希望展开调查以保障他们应有的权益及法定赔偿。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局告知大众倘若面临不合理的解雇或裁员,皆可向砂拉越劳工部投诉;地址为古晋公积金大厦7-8楼。 任何觉得自己没有得到公平待遇的员工或觉得终止雇佣关系不合适,可亲自前往砂拉越劳工处;他们的案件将由劳工处转交劳工法庭。砂拉越劳工法院的判决只能在高等法院提出上诉。 叶耀星建议员工们不要保持沉默,而是维护自身的利益和权利。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。  任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉(016-7797688或082246999)或亲临人联党总部。


Distribution of masks to schools

Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting went around schools to distribute masks at schools for the next few days.  Yesterday he went with Cr. Aries Leong. Cr. Leslie Lau to visit 3 schools at SJK (C) Chung Hua Lutong,  SK Lutong, and SMK Lutong, Miri. The distribution were at 18 schools in Piasau where a total if 18,000 pieces of mask will be given out.
