Checking on drainage system im Krokop
SUPP Krokop Chairman Cr. Vincent Huang, Kapitan Albert Sim together with service team on ground visit condition of road and drainage system among Krokop area after a request was made to the Miri city Council. Miri council engineering responded to the request and checked the problem. For public safety, a metal bridge was fixed for the people to cross over.

砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤表示，行动党砂州副主席黄庆伟退出该党的宣佈引起惊讶，特别是对古晋民众而言；这样的反应是可以理解的，毕竟黄庆伟身任浮罗岸区议员，此时依然是人民代议士。 “行动党是反对党，也是人联党的敌对政党，我必须严正表明，我不屑牵涉任何有关事件的政治臆测性议论。” 沈桂贤今日发文告说，他认同黄庆伟承诺会服务好浮罗岸人民，完成他此届州议员的任务，那毕 竟是选举中的委托，不可辜负，尽管黄庆伟已经表态，拒绝再被行动党任命为来届选举之候选人。 他表示，根据黄庆伟的退党声明看来，他公开为广大民众提供了值得作政治思考的素材，打开探讨的空间。 “黄庆伟基本上表示失望，行动党已经变成一个拒绝不同意见和观点的政党，它再也不能包容此异议。” 他指出，作为砂拉越行动党副主席，黄庆伟退党声明也宣称行动党已经失去了最灿烂的好机会，它作为希盟盟党在联邦上台执政，却没有把它一路来所宣扬的政治想法和理念实践，它向人民许下的承诺也并未兑现，一切付诸东流，大失人心。 “实话实说，我同意黄庆伟指行动党一味採取攻击政治手段，即使参与执政期间，也依然故我地不断攻击；这对砂拉越向前迈进完全没有好处，砂拉越需要正面与积极的动力来推进。” 沈桂贤表示，事实上，行动党最近向砂拉越华人社团总会长拿督黄良杰及许多领导华人社团的领袖也进行攻击，这是嚣张狂妄的恶劣行为，既失去德行，也突显它对华人社团对广大华人社会的贡献毫不尊重，毫无感激之心 “据我所知，一些行动党个别人士所发表的攻击性言论已经引起华社不少人的公愤。” 不管怎样，黄庆伟能指出行动党这种恶劣的态度和嚣张跋扈的作风是实事求是，且值得贊许的。黄庆伟痛心疾首的感悟并不是个孤立的例子，很多民众也人同此心，特别是在 2018 年大选之后更是同感深切，越来越多人认为，行动党纯粹为了政治生存已失去初心，且跟自己过去长时间所宣扬的一套原旨背道而驰；在很多人心目中，这是政治背叛，也是倒行逆施！
Widening of roads in Padawan
MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang said a RM400,000 road widening project by Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) in front of Padawan 10th Mile Market is underway.
