沈桂贤：人联党争取出战埔奕补选
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤表示，埔奕是砂人联党传统出战的选区，因此该党会争取在补选中出战。 他称，国阵以外政党的候选人，若有兴趣出战埔奕补选，可加入人联党，名正言顺以国阵旗帜出战。 他强调，总而言之，埔奕州议席是出战权是属于国阵，而非属于其他政党。 基于民主行动党埔奕区原任议员陈长锋于上周五被砂拉越立法议会罢免议员资格，因此埔奕预料将会举行补选。 沈桂贤说，埔奕的出战权并非属于联民党，实际上，来自该党的候选人在上届州选，需要退党，以无党籍身份出战。 他重申，若是人联党的候选人，则是没有这方面问题，不需要退党。
伦乐中公获得30万令吉拨款
首席部长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里移交30万令吉拨款予伦乐中华公学，兑现他在丹绒拿督补选期间许下的承诺。 他于州立法议会大厦5楼首长办公室，移交这笔拨款支票予伦乐中华公学，而刚在丹绒拿督补选胜选的拿督阿玛查米拉，直接将这笔拨款转交给伦乐中华公学校董会主席曾钟毅县议员。 在场包括砂地方政府及房屋部部长拿督沈桂贤。 另外，查米拉较后受访时说，这笔拨款是用于伦乐中华公学的建校用途，而在补选期间，首长承诺一旦她中选，就会拨出这笔拨款，后者今日是兑现这份承诺。 她表示，其亡夫拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登的哀悼期是在明日结束，而从本周末开始，她将会积极在选区服务，兑现她在补选期间的承诺，同时也尽力将丹绒拿督选区打造成美丽的地区，吸引游客前往观光。 她希望选区可以成为干净与舒适的地方，人民安居乐业。
