罗克强出席中秋节晚会
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强受邀出席于23日晚上举行的砂拉越南阳叶氏宗亲会的中秋节晚会。 这项晚会是于7哩哥打圣淘沙广场举行。 罗克强表示，虽然中秋节已经过去，但本地的佳节气氛还是非常浓厚。 他说，每逢中秋节庆典，都可看见各族一起参与，这显示了砂拉越的各族和谐，值得赞扬。

The two parliamentary seats of Sibu (P212) and Lanang (P211) are to be represented by members from the component parties of BN in the 14th Parliamentary election due in 2018. Both seats have always been represented by SUPP, a founding member of BN. UPP is not a component party of BN and its members cannot represent BN in the coming parliamentary election. Mid-Autumn Festival at Kota Sentosa Town Square
Persatuan Klan Yap (Nan Yang) Sarawak Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival at Kota Sentosa Town Square attended by State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang . Lo expressed his delight that the Mid-Autumn celebration, although celebrated late, was truly a multi racial gathering and everyone were equally having fun. He said it was a big family of multi-races, multicultural group coming together to celebrate this joyous Mid-Autumn.
联民党非国阵成员，不能推荐国选候选人
国阵诗巫和南兰国席协调委员会刘会耀和钱本统联合发表文告强调，诗巫和南兰国席的候选人必须是来自国阵，而这两个国会议席的候选人，向来都是由砂拉越人民联合党推荐。 基于联民党并非是国阵成员党，因此该党绝对不能代表国阵出战来届国选。 这项文告是基于拿督张泰卿日前表示，联民党已经鉴定南兰议席的潜能候选人。 同时，张泰卿还自称是联民党都东支部主席，不过，这种说法与他在今年5月砂拉越选举前退出联民党的决定，相互违背。而且，基于他选择以国阵天秤标志出战，那么他应该选择加入任何一个国阵成员党，而非选择国阵以外的联民党。 “倘若张泰卿没有这么做，那么他只是在辜负都东选民的支持，因为选民是基于他国阵候选人的身份而支持他。” 联民党绝非是国阵成员党，尽管声称是“国阵的一份子”，但实际上，该党从来没有提出申请加入国阵，包括在两天前召开的国阵最高理事会会议，联民党也没有提出加入国阵的申请。 为了诗巫人民和华社的团结，张泰卿应该返回他的原属政党，即砂拉越人民联合党。 而砂拉越人民联合党也欢迎张泰卿返回该党。
