陈冠勋希望教育部允许独中生担任华小教师
砂人联党中央教育局主席拿督陈冠勋希望教育部够鼓励更多符合条件的独中生踊跃提出申请加入华小教师的团队。他也促请教育部透明及公开地公布统考师范课程的招生详情。 他发文告表示，教育部于今年6月决定聘请1万8千702个具备大学资格的教师（DG41)。教育局认为这项措施有助于在短期内解决当前学校师资严重不足的问题。根据董总的调查，目前华小大约有700个教师空缺而中学方面也有100多个华文教师的空缺。 他表示，该党教育局呼吁具备大学资格的华裔子弟，积极响应这次教育部的招聘，踊跃申请来填补中小学教师的空缺。他也认为马来西亚教育部也应该透明，公开教师招聘的人具体详情，包括各源流中小学各个科目的教师招聘人数。 “我们也在此建议教育部应该开放此次招聘教师计划，给予受政府承认的私立大学，例如拉曼大学、新纪元大学和国外大学毕业生申请。” 他指出，该党教育局发现2021年大马高级教育文凭（STPM）华文科考生显着减少，是未来华文教育一大隐忧，因为它将会直接影响日后大学毕业的华文教师数目。 “从资料显示，印裔人口只是华裔人口的三分之一，但是在大马高级教育文凭报考淡米尔文科的考生却是报考华文科的双倍 。” 陈冠勋表示，根据2021年大马高级教育文凭的报考资料，报考华文科有289考生，而报考淡米尔文科则有566考生。 “于2019年的大马高级教育文凭报考华文科结果，还有378名考生报考华文科。这2年比较之下，报考华文科的学生减少了89个人，或23%。比起印裔社会对淡米尔文的重视，华社需要有所醒悟，要鼓励和支持更多华裔学生报考华文科，才会确保华文教育与文化传承长久永续。” 他也表示，假如越来越少华裔学生报考大马高级教育文凭华文科，那么这对本地大学的中文系招生人数将会不足，导致未来的华文教师出现断层。 他称，据说淡米尔文科考生会如此踊跃报考，是因为印裔社会有特别大力赞助，包括免费提供书本、赞助有关考试花费、成绩奖励等，这些都是印裔社群长期计划性的效果。 陈冠勋指出，该党教育局很乐意与华团及有关教育团体配合，来提高报考大马高级教育文凭华文科的学生数目。 “我们呼吁大学生已经申请成为教师的同学，可以把一份申请副本交予热线，号码为011-15021550，方便我们往后备用和参考。” 他续称，凡是在大马教育文凭考试获得优异成绩的同学，但却没有获得录取大学先修班，请把上诉书副本也发给该热线，该党会与马华配合解决问题。 他呼吁那些想要了解更多如何申请成为教师资格与资料的人士，可以预览SPP官方网站https://www.spp.gov.my/ms/hubungi-kami/soalan-lazim。 “最近我们也收到很多家长的投诉，很多被受训的砂拉越籍教师在师训学院毕业后，被调派到西马执教，有时候是一整班教师被派往西马执教。” “他们都很想回砂拉越服务为家乡服务，但是教育部不批准，当地的有关学校不放人。假如有这种情况，也请把资料发给以上的热线。”
