Dr. Sim advises positive covid patients to go for vaccine 90 days later
People who recovered from COVID-19 will still need to be vaccinated, 90 days after recovery, advised Local Government and Housing Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
Dr Sim said vaccination can be arranged after symptoms and quarantine ends and urged those who have not registered to do so.
He said it is better to be vaccinated as there are those who even contracted covid 19 despite having been vaccinated.
Thus, he said, it is important to build up the immune system not to contract covid 19 again. With vaccination, should anyone be tested positive, he will not be so sickly or have long haul symptoms which could last for years, he added.
Currently, he said, Sarawak government is providing free bus service to those who need to go to vaccine centres but did not have transport. For city link Plus, those who need bus service can contact Roselyn Sia at telephone:01151357177.
