On 19th July 2015 at 8.30am, as concerned Sarawakians, we went to Miri City Council and attended the Peaceful Assembly. 2015年菩提之夜佛教文艺晚会
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚出席古晋三圣佛堂青年团主办的2015年菩提之夜佛教文艺晚会。 他赞扬古晋三圣佛堂青年团不仅仅为佛教作出贡献，该团在促进社会发展，塑造更有素质青年人方面也作出积极努力。 他说，古晋三圣佛堂青年团经常举办有益身心活动，是个活跃的团体，这也直接为三圣佛堂的发展起着积极作用。 “青年团努力协助筹募三圣佛堂文教中心的建筑经费，我相信这项计划必定能够落实。” 出席晚会者包括三圣佛堂住持佛声法师、晓航法师、地仁法师、三圣佛堂主席沈林素卿、三圣佛堂青年团团长李汉文及筹委会主席吴吉祥。

砂拉越人民联合党中央领袖于开斋节首天，在党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员的率领下，前往砂州各领袖的开斋节开放门户，向领袖们贺节。 前往的开放门户包括州元首敦丕显斯里泰益玛目、首长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南沙登、房屋及旅游部长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈利、州务秘书丹斯里慕希迪及助理部长拿督达力祖基菲里等等。 出席的党领袖包括中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师、副主席兼成邦江区州议员拿督法兰西斯哈登、副主席兼史纳汀区州议员拿督李景胜、青年团总团长陈开及中央妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽等等。

Prohibition of Parade marking Sarawak Independence from British Rule
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party is greatly disappointed that the authorities have rejected the parade permit to celebrate and mark Sarawak’s independence from British colonial rule on 22nd July 1963. Indeed, this date 22nd July 1963 is very important to us Sarawakians. For us it is our Independence Day and equally, for our fellow Malaysians in Peninsular Malaya, the date 31st August 1957 is very important to them. 陈超耀：每个公民有权自由发言和表达心声
大马皇家警察部队发出禁令，不准公众本月22日在古晋举行大游行，令人失望，更是开倒车的做法。 砂人联党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀今日针对警方禁止722大游行发表文告如斯指出。 他说，根据《联邦宪法》第二章第十条阐明：“每个公民有权自由发言和表达心声、所有公民有权在非武装的情况和平集会、所有公民有权组织团体。” 陈超耀说，在1963年9月16日，砂拉越参组大马前，曾经在7月22日从英国殖民政府手中取得独立，所以这一天对砂拉越意义非凡，这个日子对砂拉越人具有非凡的历史意义。 大马皇家警察总部指出，不允许砂拉越达雅伊班协会总部较早时提呈建议在古晋任何道路进行大游行，原因是这些道路都位于古晋市中心，大游行将导致交通阻塞及影响人们日常活动。 陈超耀认为，警方如此的理由非常牵强且不合理。 他说，政府必须向前迈进，只要符合宪法规定，不违法且和平的游行，是国家革新的必要进程。 他可以肯定全体国人，包括砂拉越人民已不断在改变。他促请政府应该认清和确保能引领这股革新之流，而不是逆革新之流而行。 陈超耀续指出，若是警方一意孤行，强制禁止国民举行和平大游行的意愿，这不但剥夺了在民主制度国人应享有的基本权利，他更担心，当局的强权会引起反效果，人民反弹力更大。
陳超耀严厉谴责吉隆坡刘蝶广场暴力事件
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律指出，西马发生种族和极端主义绝对不能在砂州抬头。 我国拥有多元种族、不同宗教和文化，必须互相尊重和容忍，更重要的是互相谅解。当误会产生时，便会冲击社会和平共处的和谐关系，这对任何一方都没有好处，对国家经济也会造成莫大损失。 拿督陈超耀今日发文告严厉谴责上周六晚上在吉隆坡刘蝶广场发生群众打斗的暴力事件。他促请警方绝勿姑息把法律操纵在己手、无视我国法治的不法分子。 “我们在砂拉越这边厢，难以想象一宗涉嫌偷窃的事件，次日便于首都地区升级成了暴力行为。” 砂拉越人民联合党强烈谴责这种付诸于暴力且倾向极端的行为者，他们在刘蝶广场前所作出的憎恨且无知的暴行令人震惊。这也造成吉隆坡刘蝶广场的商家和民众感到担忧，生意也受到影响。 警方必须全力从各角度去彻查此事，让违例者受到法律制裁。 陈超耀指出，像这种负面文化严禁被带进砂州，砂州政府有必要采取各种防范措施来阻止极端文化的入侵。因为这群人只为了提倡仇恨思维。 他称，我们砂拉越人很幸运且很有信心，在阿德南领导下的政府维护各族和谐的关系。 首长阿德南已多次在公开场合重申砂州杜绝极端文化坚决的立场从不改变。砂人联党和州民都会全力给首长支持。 他表示，砂拉越人民应该不分种族和宗教，必须互相尊重，建立容忍和谅解的社会非常重要。 事实上，砂州没有种族分歧的问题，惟人民仍有必要继续维持全体州民和平和谐的稳定社会。 他说，作为多元民族的砂拉越人联党亦一直强调州内社会各族互相谅解、尊重、缔造和谐社会之重要性。 他认为，基于族群之间缺乏谅解和尊重，才会产生误会进而作出极端的行为。 陈超耀表示欣慰砂拉越在首长阿德南领导下，坚决杜绝种族和宗教极端主义，提倡中庸，不分种族和宗教，维护全民和平相处的社会。
