Independence Day of Sarawak from Colonial Rule
On 19th July 2015 at 8.30am, as concerned Sarawakians, we went to Miri City Council and attended the Peaceful Assembly.
The main purpose was to support the call for the recognition of the importance of this date, 22nd July 1963, the Independence Day of Sarawak from the Colonial Rule and to let all Sarawakians know this important date.
Program started at 9am and I must congratulate the organiser, their team and the public who attended as there was complete discipline to maintain peaceful and orderly parade and planned activities within the MCC padang.
Well Done and Congratulations, Sarawakians, as we have shown to the authorities that there was really nothing to worry or fear at all..
As I had said many many times before,, Sarawakians are loving people, living in total Peace and Harmony for decades even before the formation of Malaysia and therefore we would be able to hold Peaceful Assembly and Parade to celebrate and commemorate the Independence Day Of Sarawak.
We are Sarawakians. We are proud and feel proud when we call ourselves Sarawakians.
Let us remember 22ND JULY 1963.
