人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星日前接获八点地甘榜达实都东马来尤居民要求协助向土地测量局质询有关临时土地居住证的申请。 一名叫马力奇的居民代表其他居民要求人联公共投诉局主任叶耀星协助有关他们目前居住的土地临时入伙证。他告知叶耀星他们自1986年位于新渔村Tabuan Sampah,的故居火灾后就一直居住在这里。他们于1990年向土地测量局申请临时土地居住证（TOL）但直到到目前为止他们还没有收到任何答覆。 经调查后，土地测量局官员告知人联公共投诉局主任叶耀星有关马力奇的申请仍在等待总部批准。 基于土地测量局官员的回覆，人联公共投诉局主任叶耀星向土地测量局局长反映居民们的困境并协助他们的临时土地居住证申请。 此外，另一位八点地的居民也寻求人联党公共投诉局协助更新其位于2012年到期的临时土地居住证。人联党公共投诉局已协助该民事主更新其临时土地居住证至2018年。 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。

砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员呼吁时下年轻人不应该沦陷于智能手机、平板电脑等科技产品的低头族，反之应以走出去“面对面”的与家人、朋友沟通及分享一切事物，这么一来，人生才会过的充实及有意义。 他说，随着手机与电脑越来越普遍，许多真伪的资讯都能个轻易按个键就分享或看见，故年青人亦要认真思考及辨认其真假。 他称，“面对面”的谈话是必须的社交，因为在面对面的交谈及沟通之中，所能达到的社交关系、分享、学习与生活体验都很充实。 沈桂贤昨日出席第17届全国大专升学辅导生活营《别在低头了》主持开幕仪式上致词时，如是表示。 与此同时，他也呼吁年轻人要持着“学无止境”的心态，时刻都要持着学习精神与谦虚学习的态度，才不会被社会淘汰。 他举例，身为心脏专科医生的自己亦同样每天在不断的学习，学习更多心脏在技术及治疗的新科技，才能继续培训下一代人才，让他们成为杰出的心脏医生，继续为国家、为人民提供医疗服务。
Nanyang Wushu Drum festival
SUPP President Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian officiated the opening of the Nanyang Wushu Drum festival on Friday at Crown Square. Dr Sim Said the Persekutuan Wushu Nanyang Sarawak has an excellent record of winning both local and international competitions. He said such sport activity is a good way to promote fitness, team work and discipline. He praised the lion dance troupe, as they are multi racial, making Sarawak a truly 1Sarawak.

沈桂贤：砂拉越人不满发展不足
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员强调，联邦政府应该重新审视1963年马来西亚契约，因为目前砂拉越对于发展不足的问题，产生一股不高兴的情绪。 他在国会上议院参与财政预算案辩论时说，砂拉越无意愿要求联邦政府修改宪法或国家法律，以提升对砂拉越的对待，但是，若任何的宪法与法律有违马来西亚契约，那么相关宪法与法律必须要获得修正。 他表示，这是为了确保马来西亚契约是真正被遵从与重视的。砂拉越的国会议员必须要为砂拉越人民党权益而争取。 沈桂贤说，当初砂拉越与沙巴与马来亚一起参组马来西亚，是以同等伙伴的地位。 他强调，砂拉越需要更多有实质意义的自主权力，不仅仅是某些领域的权力下放，因此，他也在国会上询问首相拿督斯里纳吉关于自主权力下放的课题。 同时，他表示，单单权力下放也是不足的，联邦政府应该要让砂沙的国会议席，达到至少三分之一。
南洋武术擂鼓节
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚受邀主持砂拉越南洋武术协会主办的南洋武术擂鼓节开幕礼。 这项活动是于皇冠广场举行。 沈桂贤在致词时，赞扬砂拉越南洋武术协会在主席拿督斯里宋瑞喜的带领下，国内外获奖无数，为砂州争光。 他说，武术与龙狮运动结合可让参与者学习团队与纪律精神，同时也加强体能。 “在砂拉越，舞龙舞狮是多元文化与种族的体育活动，展现和谐的一个砂拉越精神。”

沈桂贤：联邦对砂拨款不足
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员对于首长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登指联邦政府2016年财政预算案拨给砂州的拨款不足的说法，深表认同。 他强调，砂州在各项基本设施发展上，都需要赶上西马，包括学校、医院及道路等等，因为当初砂州是以伙伴的身份，与马来亚共同参组马来西亚。 “砂州发展必须快马加鞭，我们不想再等多50年！” 沈桂贤是针对刚出炉的2016年州财政预算案发表看法。 他说，每年的砂州财政预算案，都是国内各州属当中最大的财政预算案。 “尽管原油等天然资源价格波动，但砂州政府还是有能力增加发展预算，在明年度的财政预算案当中，多达75%的预算是充作发展开销。而且，砂州政府还是属于盈余预算案。 他强调，年轻一代所关注的房屋课题必须获得关注，政府必须兴建更多可负担房屋，而且他也希望看到更多人力资源培训方面的计划，让人们可以达致更高收入水平，而不是过于依赖政府津贴。
