Chinese New Year Festive Season Price Control Scheme
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting called to traders to fully comply with the Chinese New Year Festive Season Price Control Scheme 2018 when it comes to selling 13 controlled items. He said it was important for traders not to sell the 13 listed items above the ceiling price as determined by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) so as not to fall foul of the law.

英吉利里支部宣誓就职仪式
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤医生日前见证英吉利里支部新届执委宣誓就职，以及150名新党员入党仪式。 他形容，英吉利里支部对人联党非常重要，而且对于该支部取得迅速发展感到欣慰。 他说，英吉利里支部向来与人联党中央保持密切关系，而无论是高潮或低潮时期，该支部党员对人联党不离不弃，展现出好榜样。这不如一些领袖，选择背弃人联党。 沈桂贤强调，作为多元种族政党的人联党，新生代领导层非常努力团结党员，而目前人联党已经展现出实力，希望更多新党员可以加入。 他也提醒英吉利里支部领袖积极备战来临的全国大选，协助国阵在选区中获胜。 英吉利里支部主席丹迪在仪式上，移交150名新党员入党表格予沈桂贤。 出席活动者包括人联党中央财政兼成邦江区州议员拿督法兰西斯哈登、副主席拿督陈冠勋、组织秘书拿督曾镇江及中央妇女组主席许德婉。
人联党初一举行新春大团拜
砂人联党将于大年初一（2月16日）上午9时30分至中午12时举办新春大团拜。这项新春大团拜是于人联党总部举行，欢迎各界出席。 这次新春大团拜筹委会主席罗克强指出，该活动是人联党的传统新年活动，主要是让各界与党领袖一起欢庆佳节。届时，砂州元首敦丕显斯里泰益玛目及首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里也会出席。 他表示，活动现场将准备美食招待出席者，同时现场也会有舞狮表演，肯定非常热闹。 此项新春大团拜的筹委会顾问为拿督沈桂贤、秘书长拿督陈超耀律师、拿督斯里里察烈及钱本统。
陈超耀移交椅子予美里诊所
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师致力协助提升美里市民的生活素质。 两个星期前，他巡视美里政府诊所时，发现年老的病人站在墙角等待看医生。对于此景，他感到十分惊讶且难过，并想方设法帮助他们。 在本周一，陈超耀返回美里政府诊所，移交椅子予该诊所职员，希望可以帮助到病人。 他是将椅子移交予诊所医生哲希。对于陈超耀的慷慨与热心帮助，诊所职员表示高兴，并赞扬前者是美里人需要的人民代议士。
2018年春节统制品价格推展礼
砂人联党卑尔骚州议员拿督陈超耀日前受邀主持2018年春节统制品价格推展礼。 这项推展礼是在富丽华霸级市场举行，砂贸消局制定的春节统制品共有12种，分别是鸡只、鸡蛋、番薯、蒜、海产及猪肉等。商家在2月10日至21日期间须遵守条规，不可超过顶价。 陈超耀对此吁请商家在春节期间，遵照贸消部制定的统制品价格售卖统制品。这是因为政府制定统制品价格就是为了避免一些不负责任的商家，在佳节期间抬高物品价格。 “国内贸易及消费部在佳节到来时都会制定统制品价格，这是保护消费人的权益，让他们以合理的价格购买物品。” 他也指出，富丽华霸级市场售卖的部份统制品价格，要比贸消部制定的价格还低，这点值得商家效仿。 出席活动者包括美里省长赛丽娜、贸消部美里主管佐阿兹米及富丽华霸级市场董事经理林登喜。

九老市赠消拯车予砂消拯局
古晋南市与韩国首尔九老市缔结友谊城市，让砂拉越消拯局迎来两辆来自九老市捐赠的韩国型消拯车，日后将提供予古晋志愿消拯团队使用。 砂地方政府部及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤在砂拉越消拯局总部见证两辆韩国型消拯车的抵达，并在主持移交仪式时，自豪表示，这是我国第一次获得来自韩国赠送的消拯车。 他表示，古晋今日获得来自韩国九老市捐赠的两辆消拯车，全赖古晋南市市政局与九老市的密切关系。 他称，虽然这不是全新的消拯车，但是“有比没有更好”，这两辆消拯车在展开救火或救援工作时，能够让古晋志愿消拯团队所使用。 与此同时，他强调，在有限的资源下，不能仅依赖政府提供援助，反之，可以通过外交关系，获得外地提供的资源。古晋今日迎来两辆来自韩国首尔九老市捐赠的韩国型消拯车，就是最好的例子。
人联青与警方巡逻车队交流
砂人联党在青年总团副秘书刘龙雨的安排下，今日与古晋区警方流动巡逻车(Mobile Patrol Vehicles) 对话与交流，以进一步了解古晋警区巡逻车队的运作。 同行的青年领袖包括人联青总团秘书符祥威，南市市议员林瑞钊，贝朝兴，郑生彬等人。 人联党此项活动是为了更加了解警察巡逻车的运作，并将古晋区内频密发生罪案的黑区资料提供予巡逻车队警方，以便巡逻车队能给予高度关注，并加强在该区的巡逻工作。其中罪恶猖獗的黑区，包括丹那布爹区内的珍珠商业中心(Pearl Commercial Centre)和新建好的City Square商业中心。 符祥威在会上特别指出，上述两个地点属于爆窃黑区，并希望巡警车能多加关注和增加巡逻。根据警察巡逻车车队高级助理督察林警长的解释，警察巡逻车的主要工作是防范罪案的发生，巡逻和前线支援工作。基于许多民众对警察部门的工作不甚了解，所以他也对人联党此次的活动表示欢迎与好评。他续指出，警察巡逻车在接获投报后，必须于十五分钟内赶到现场。民众若要投报，可直接拨打082-244444或248311。 人联党此次的活动，除了让青年党员们更加了解警方的日常巡逻运作外，更希望透过此次破冰的拜访能让民众直接参与警方的罪案防范工作。人联青将在日后续与警方联系，展开更多类似的对话与讲座，让民众可以更深入了解警察部门的运作，并提高人民防范罪案的意识，同时也让警察可以走近民众，深入基层，以解决人民所关心的居家治安问题。

SUPP Youth récentl conducted a dialogue with the Mobile Patrol Vehicles (MPV) Unit, Kuching police district, aimed at understanding its operation. Those present included SUPP Youth Central Secretary-General Milton Foo, Kuching South City Councilor Lim Swee Chiaw, Alex Pui and Albert Tay.
