Drainage upgrading work at Stampin Resettlement Scheme
SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap expressed his satisfaction that Kuching South City Council is finally implementing drainage upgrading works at Lorong 7, 9, 11, 37, 37A and 37B, Stampin Resettlement Scheme.
Yap said a lot of credit should go to his Party president, Datuk Prof Sim Kui Hian, Minister for Housing and Local Government, for his assistance in securing government funding for the upgrading works.
Political Secretary to Chief Minister, Tan Kai, SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap, Kuching City South Councillors and community leaders recently attended a simple ceremony for the erection of sign boards at Lorong 7, 9, 11, 37, 37A and 37, Stampin Resettlement Scheme to inform the residents that the contract through open tender for upgrading drainage works have been awarded to the successful contractor.
The total contract sum for the upgrading works is approximately RM2.5 Million and the construction work by the contractor will commence in March 2018 and is scheduled for completion in December 2018.
