‘Merger of Minds and Hearts Unity’ Dinner

The component parties of Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) are told to provide unwavering support and confidence towards the current governance of BN that is led by the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem.

During his speech, Deputy President of Parti Pesaka Bersatu (PBB), Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg called to all BN component parties to throw their support behind the Chief minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem who is a people’s CM.

Johari, speaking at the ‘Merger of Minds and Hearts Unity’ Dinner held at the Grand Magherita Hotel on Sunday said that Adenan has been standing up for the people’s voice on issues such as the Chinese immigrants, the recognition of UEC, the ‘lain-lain’ terms used on official government forms, devolution of power and so on. He said to be successful as a State, it is the people of Sarawak who should stand united despite the diversifying races and religions.

He pointed out that the BN have to play our role in aiding our Chief Minister who is the also the Chairman of Sarawak BN in resolving issues that become the muscle that enables all of us to move forward.

The dinner was attended by all four of the component parties of BN which are PBB, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) and Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP).

Also speaking was the President of PRS, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr. James Jemut Masing, who called out to all the component parties of BN to continue to unite in defending the BN family from outsiders. Saying that the BN is like a big family led by Adenan as the father, Masing said no one should mess around with any of the component parties or they would all stand united and fight against them.

President of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing and President of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP), Senator Datuk . Dr. Sim Kui Hian were also present.
