Anak Sarawak in Semenanjung
The Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak 2015 at the PWTC Kuala Lumpur is a good start for Sarawak students to understand government policies.
Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian who was also present at the occasion, said it is important to engage with the students from Sarawak currently studying in Semenanjung.
Speaking to reporters after presenting the Senate grant, Dr. Sim said the students need to understand what the country’s policy is about as they are the future leaders.
Dr. sim said this was a good opportunity for Federal Ministers from Sarawak to know the students and to assist them in time of needs.
He said as Sarawakian, they can serve any where in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sim gave away 26 grants to several Non Government Organisation and Associations from his Senate grant yesterday at the SUPP headquarters.
Dr. Sim said although the amount was not much, it would help them to organise activities for their respective organisation.
He said the main objective of giving out grant was for the benefit of the people as these organisations were from the people themselves.
