Appreciation lunch for police
SUPP organized an appreciation lunch for the police sunday for a job well done in solving the goldsmith robbery at Carpenter Street.
In his appreciation speech, Dr Sim emphasised that when the public service did a good job, we should be generous in thanking them, acknowledge and recognise the good work. When the public service is inefficient, we should not hesitate to let them know and it should never be swept under carpet.
Unfortunately, due to our human nature, we tends to read more about the bad work rather than just the good work. The other contradiction of human nature is no one will tell you they lose money in stock market or casino. However, they are willing to tell you their success, said SUPP President Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
Dr Sim thanked the Polis Daerah Kuching lead by OCPD Tuan Roslan for a speedy (62 hours) in solving a serious crime leading to the arrest of suspects for robbing the Goldsmith store in Kuching.
