State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Dato IR Lo Khere Chiang witnesses the handing over of RTP project of retaining walls
A 15-feet high retaining wall was constructed below the hills of Kampung Paya Mebi to prevent soil erosion crashing to houses there.
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Dato IR Lo Khere Chiang who witnessed the handing over of the Rural Transformation programme project from Padawan Municipal Council to KK Ismail bin Tanggok said this is another of GPS success story in helping the community in Batu Kitang.
He said the project cost RM 150,000 and below the walls was a drainage to allow water to run through it.
Lo said it is expensive to see to the needs of the community problems and only with GPS ‘s assistance, can they do it.
