Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian performing the dragon eye- dotting ceremony
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian performed a ceremonial Dragon /Lion eye ceremony dotting yesterday at the Chinese Martial Art Association(CMAA) .
Dr Sim who is also Batu Kawa state Assemblyman performed the ceremony for two new dragons and 12 new lions.
In Sarawak, he said this sort of ceremony is held at the temple but this year, in conjunction with CMAA’s 51st Anniversary, this year’s CNY Dragons & Lions Eyes-dotting is conducted with blessings and in presence of the Association’s “Zhu Xi Ye” (Ancestral Deity).
Dr Sim congratulated CMAA leads by President Chester H.T.Lim and the generous sponsors for a great start for 2024.
