New kindergarten for Kampung Sudat
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Dato Lo Khere Chiang witnessed the handing over of a kindergarten building from the contractor to the Padawan Municipal Council this morning.
The project was under Rural Transformation program (RTP) costing RM 250,000.
Lo said Kampung Sudat is fortunate to have a kindergarten in the Kampung so that parents do not have to travel far to send their young children for learning.
He thanked Premier, Abang Jo for his great vision in encouraging education. Lo said as what Premier said recently, by 2026, Sarawak aimed to have free education for higher study. This, he believed will indeed make Sarawak a learned State compared to other states and it will make us be ahead of others.
