Dr Sim giving away mooncakes to share the joy of mid-autumn festival
With the coming mid-autumn festival, Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian gave away moon cake to residents of Batu Kawah.
Dr Sim who is also the State Assemblyman for Batu Kawah said the coming mid-autumn festival which falls on the 15 of the 8th month of the Chinese Lunar calender is a day that symbolizes reunion and unity. Giving away mooncake is an annual event for him of which he wants to share the joy.
He invited all to attend the Mooncake festival celebration where over a hundred stalls will be set up between September 23 to October 1.
There will be different food and cultural performances at the old Batu Kawah town.
