Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian rewards students with excellent results
Thirty-seven students from SMK Batu Kawa and SM Min Lit who obtained excellent results were given a token of funding at a luncheon held at a local hotel yesterday.
Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian said due to limited ADUN MRP fundings, he said the amount given may not be huge but the students hard work is recognised and acknowledged.
He urged the students to strive higher and better for their future as what they worked for will be for Sarawak one day.
Dr Sim said a big part of the students success is due to parents and teachers’ sacrifices and dedications.
