Lo Khere Chiang visiting Dewan Kampung Paya Mebi to see to upgrading work there
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang went to see for himself the upgrading work at Dewan Kpg Paya Mebi (off Jalan Landeh). The implementation of the project by JKR was under Rural Transformation program.
Lo said the job scope included installing toilets, a store room, 3 phase power supply, window grills, relocation of SEB high extension pole and cables.
During the inspection yesterday, Lo who is an engineer also contributed ideas to JKR on how best to upgrade the hall.
The amount of the RTP is RM 200,000.
Lo said if there are funds left after the initial proposed work was done, he suggested the remaining fund can go towards installing an air condition for the hall.
During the inspection, both JKKK, the contractor and the JKR representatives were there.
