Sebastian Ting advises FB account holders to stay vigilant against scammers
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting urged friends and followers of his Facebook account not to pay attention to unknown messages and if they have any queries, they can contact him directly.
Ting said he was told by two friends that they received his personal Facebook Messenger messages which seem strange.
“I was taken aback by it. I quickly checked and found that my Facebook account was hacked and messengers sent without my knowledge. In the era of advanced technology, there are endless incidents of hacking Facebook or other social media accounts, and some people are even deceived by it. This irresponsible practice must be severely condemned, ” he said.
Ting hoped that everyone should stay vigilant at all times and pays attention to online fraud. He advised that if any of your friend suddenly send an inexplicable message, you should contact the other party to ask clearly, so as not to fall prey by scammers.
