Bedridden patients given jabs in Pending
Sixty-five persons had been given both doses from door to door mobile vaccination for bedridden/OKU in Pending area since mid-July this year, said Secretary of Youth Central, Milton Foo. So far, only three have yet to get their second dose due to the lockdown in their area.
Foo said this program started off due to Dr Hearsley Matthew and her medical colleagues and teams from Klinik Kesihatan Tanah Puteh (KKTP) for providing special arrangement for the doorstep mobile vaccination at Pending area.
He also extended his appreciation to all community leaders in Pending area in collaborating and assisting him in coming up with the list of bedridden/OKU in their respective area of Pending constituency.
Foo said everyone must continue to fight covid 19 together as there is a surge of cases lately. He said it is best to stay indoors and only to go out when necessary due to the more deadly Delta variant.
Foo added that for those who needed to be out, they must not forget to follow the SOP required by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee.
