Mayor Adam Yii bid farewell to SEB Regional Manager, Johnny Tan

Johnny Tan Joo Kok, departing Regional Manager Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) Miri bids farewell to Miri City Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang during his courtesy.

Tan called at the latter’s office today and introduced to the Council Mohamad Saiful Misi, his successor who will be taking over the post of Regional Manager SEB Miri.

Tan is scheduled to transfer to Kuching in the middle of September 2021 after completing his tour of duties in Miri.

Haji Julaihi bin Haji Mohamad, Deputy Mayor, Chairmen of various Council’s Standing Committees and Encik Abdul Rahman Bin Taupek, Acting City Secretary who are also present during the courtesy call.

Miri City Mayor, Adam Yii extended his gratitude as well as from Miri City Council to Tan for his dedicated and valuable services rendered to Miri City. The Mayor also extended sincere appreciation to Mr Tan for his involvement in the Council’s Residents Committees. His active participation in this Council’s community related set up has resulted a number of public requests and feedback relating to Sarawak Energy Berhad, being promptly dealt with even sometimes, received these in odd hours and public holidays.

For his outstanding commitment and total responsiveness in serving the Miri communities, Tan has received the Miri City Mayor Awards in Year 2018 under the category of Special Recognition, the appreciation award from Miri City Council to those individuals and organisations, for their contributions to Miri City.
