The Party Central hereby reiterates that the Triennial Delegates’ Conference 2014 would proceed as scheduled. All Branch/Sub-Branch, Youth and Women Section Election must be held between 15th July, 2014 to 3 August, 2014.

The Nomination Day has been fixed on 15th July, 2014 from 10 am to 5 pm for all Branches, Sub-Branches, Youth and Women Sections. However, the date, time, and venue of the General Meeting (TGM) of the respective Branch, Sub-Branch, Youth and Women Sections will be determined by the respective Branch Working Committee.

In this regard, please be reminded that the Notice to hold Branch/Sub-Branch General Meeting shall be 10 days from the date of issue of the Notice and shall be put up on the Notice Board of the premises of the Branch/Sub-Branch; and published in any two of the local newspapers for not less than two days.

The Party Central Secretariat is closely monitoring the situation in Sibu, Engkilili, Opar and Bengoh Branch, where the respective ex-Chairman had abandoned Branches to join TERAS, especially Sibu Branch, where the Party Central is simply unable to determine who had and who had not paid the annual subscription of RM 2/- on or before 30 April, 2014 as all the records, documents and receipt books were missing from the Sibu Branch Office.

Meanwhile, the Party Central is actively sorting out all matters pertaining to the said Branches to ensure that the said Branches will be able to conduct their elections democratically as scheduled above or otherwise.
