More health facilities for Sarawak
There will be about RM300 million developments for Sarawak for year 2021 and of the amount, RM48 million is for capacity building of COVID19 testing for Sarawak (getting ready in case another wave), said Minister of Local government and Housing, Dato’ Seri Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
Besides that, there will be 10 new units of 4 by 4 pick up truck for Sarawak Health department.
A RM400,000 new physio & occupational facility will be constructed for Klinik Kesihatan (KK) Batu Kawa, Spaoh and Dalat under 12MP RP2.
Dr. Sim added that there will be a new SPECT CT ($16 million @ Sarawak Heart Centre) for 2021. He said they had discussed on having a new Sarawak cancer centre which he hoped, will be a reality soon.
He thanked the MOH Malaysia under PN+ for the above as well as $9.6 million Cardiac MRI @ PJS and $5.6 million CT @ SGH.
