Proposal for upgrading of Bumiko sport facilities
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting has received a request from a friend for assistance to upgrade a basketball court in Bumiko Residential Area recently.
After meeting with the residents, Ting said they had a discussion about how to improve the area and was appreciative of the residents who share their ideas on making the improvement.
The proposal they gave, he said, included a shed over the basketball court so that they can also have other sporting events like Taichi, gathering and other healthy activities. The residents also felt that the current walkway is too narrow and they should widen it. Outside the field, they asked for sport exercise equipment.
Ting said they will included the request under Rural Transformation programme.
