Dr. Sim refuses to play politics but works for the people

President of Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP), Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian said he would rather focus on helping Sarawakians than playing politics.

Dr. Sim who is also Minister for Local Government and Housing said this when asked to respond to Datuk Seri Anwr Ibrahim’s claim on majority support to form a new government.

In Sarawak, he said, GPS would rather focus on the people while others focus on playing politics. Since early this morning, the fake rumours regarding PN PLUS had been flying around furiously . With Covid-19 still around, we pray to God to save the country. We want to ensure the people are safe, no time to play politics.

Anwar claimed that he has the majority support of the MPs who are tired of PN government which is lack of a firm government and that he will seek an audience with the Agong soon. He claimed to have a stronger majority than that of the Perikatan Nasional administration led by Muhyiddin.

Dr. Sim said he went to Serian with the Sarawak Disaster Management team and have video conferencing with other Heads of the Sarawak Health department.

Serian District Council had allocated $700,000 and appointed a traffic consultant to address the traffic jam in Serian and the issues caused by Pan Borneo highways.
