A lot of projects from Sarawak government ongoing

Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian went to the ground to Monitor the Rural Transformation Projects, Dewan Perstuan Chung Hua Batu Kawa upgrading costing $400,000.

He said there are so many projects by Sarawak Gov that one of the greatest challenges is to beg the contractor to do the job!

“Recently a few of RTP after cabu undi, the selected contractor decided not to take up the offer, causing further delay for the project. On the other hand, if happens to have a good contractor, you can be assured that the projects are done as in the spec. A bad contractor, not only takes time to terminate the contractors, causing further delayed when we cabu undi again! ” he added.

In view of the challenges with too many Sarawak Government projects and too few good contractors, Dr Im said he had always remind the implementing agencies and staff to” TurunPadang” to monitor the projects rather than finger pointing later.
