Reopening of Schools
Minister for Local government and Housing, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian thanked the Fire and Rescue service department for sanitizing private and government schools to get them ready for the reopening next month.
Dr. Sim said in Batu Kawa, the firemen from Batu Lintang, Petra Jaya, Tabuan Jaya and Padungan helped out by disinfecting all the schools there.
Thanking them for their effort, he said it is also the duty of the schools to ensure that they followed the SOP required to ensure that both the students and staff of the schools are kept safe from covid 19.
He also thanked the teachers who played a role giving online lessons to students during the lockdown period.
