BON FIRE PRESS STATEMENT 13/6/2014 – the DAP lied, again.
SUPP Bon Fire Team would like to alert all its supporters and the people of Sarawak to be aware of Sarawak DAP’s latest PR (public relations) stunt. We are in total agreement with state BN Secretary General Datuk Stephen Rundi when he pointed out that it (DAP’s announcement of a Dayak CM if it wins) is nothing but another one of DAP’s political gimmicks.
We urge the public not to be tricked by the sweet words of DAP yet again. DAP promised that they would take government in GE13 but now we all can see clearly that it wasnothing but just a ploy. DAP knew then and they know now, that Sarawak, especially in the stronghold areas (which is more than 2/3) cannot be penetrated and are impregnable. They have made many superficial efforts even claiming glories to non-existent projects.
DAP knows all too well that PKR is undergoing a major crisis, from its problem-riddled party elections to the internal power struggle in Selangor. With this knowledge, DAP is also aware that PKR will not make strides in Sarawak come the next state election. With PAS never even making a dent in Sarawak and DAP with anywhere from 8 to 12 out of 71 seats, this would mean Pakatan has no chance or whatsoever in taking Sarawak, not even in their wildest dreams! And yet, they persisted with the charade and make whimsical pledges to the voters, knowing well that these promises can never be realized.
DAP’s integrity was already in question when the party did not use its influence in Selangor to return the confiscated Bibles. Now that the Bibles have been returned, they stood silent when a Hindu woman was dragged out of her own wedding by Selangor State Islamic Religious Department (JAIS).
Bon Fire team has asserted before that DAP is complicit in the move to introduce Hudud, be it directly or indirectly. We are pleading to the Rakyats to see these moves, don’t allow them to trick you again. DAP has even admitted that their loss in Teluk Intan was partlydue to their role in supporting Hudud. The evidence lies in two distinct incidents:
1) The Kajang Move: here a Chinese YB was asked to vacate his seat to allow for a Malay candidate to stand in a Chinese majority seat with the backing of DAP’s apparent Chinese support; this move resulted in a tip of balance by giving a 2/3 majority to the Malay assemblymen in Selangor’s State Legislative Assembly which means the state government can now pass the bill if it is introduced.
2) Teluk Intan by-election: this time, DAP decided to field a Malay candidate to succeed the deceased Chinese incumbent. Again, Dap consciously but discreetly tried to place more Malay YBs into Parliament to pave way to the passing of Hudud Bill which PAS is determined to introduce in Parliament this coming September.
Bon Fire Team asserts that DAP has lost its credibility altogether with the endless lying. They wanted to reduce cost of living but they raised water tariffs; they imposed toll charges when they promised not to; they sold government assets to show budget surplus; they have three links to the mainland to feed 70,000 people per day whilst Singapore only needs 2 links to manage 200,000 people per day; they bull dozed heritage villages after promising land titles. Again and again, DAP simply won’t stop lying.
We from the Bon Fire Team SUPP, challenge the DAP to introduce a bill in the Dewan Rakyat to abolish article 153 of the constitution. Show your sincerity to your own party constitution. We cannot understand, why DAP didn’t even propose to have Malays’ Special Position as stated in the Article 153 of our constitution to be changed or removed, so that ‘Malayaian’s Malaysia’ the party has been promoting all the while can be fully implemented while all government policies will be based on meritocracy. This is double standard practice typical of DAP to hoodwink the urban and Chinese voters to further segregate the urban and rural divide.
