Unity night dinner in Sarikei

A series of SUPP anniversary celebrations is taking off all over Sarawak.

Yesterday, Sarikei branch organised an unity night dinner to celebrate party 55th anniversary.

The celebration was done on a big scale with over 1,000 members from Kapit, Sri Aman and Bintangor joining the dinner.

Also joining in the celebration was President Tan Sri Peter Chin, Youth Chairman, Tan Kai and Woman’s wing chairman, Amy Tnay.

That night, the party did a collection and collected a total of RM 37,961.50.

Meanwhile, in Kanowit, SUPP Secretary general, Datuk Senator Dr. Sim Kui Hian, who spoke at the celebration of the anniversary there, called to all members to forget what happened in the past and instead concentrate on building up the party.

He said since being the sec-general of the party, he has been to Kanowit many times and is happy that the branch is very supportive of the party all these years despite the presence of Teras.
