Blood donation drive in Sibu
SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin, visited the Sibu branch today and reminded members to continue serving the people.
Chin who was in Sibu to visit Acting Chairman, Chieng Buong Toon said those who had left the party to join Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras) should also mean it when they said they love SUPP and leave the party headquarters alone.
He said Sibu SUPP should continue using the branch as it belongs to the party so there is no issue at all.
Meanwhile, Sibu branch acting chairman Chieng Buong Toon noted that many have joined the party after former party Chairman of Sibu, Dato’ Seri Wong Soon Koh left.
He said, the new members are mostly professional people and said the party belonged to the people of Sarawak and not to individuals.
This morning the party members also carried out a blood donation drive.
A number of party members joined in to donate blood.
