Datuk Sebastian: caring for the less fortunate
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting helped an elderly woman by giving her an adjustable bed for hers and her husband’s convenience.
Lim who has been bedridden due to chronic disease, was taken care of by her aged husband.
When Ting went to visit Lim a few days ago, he was sadden to see the situation the couple was in.
Miri Agape Society who alerted Ting of Lim’s plight, thanked him for his kindness and said the adjustable bed will be of a huge comfort to Lim. She can sit up and moved her body without anyone lifting her.
Last month, Ting and the SUPP Piasau also donated a similar adjustable bed to another bedridden patient Uncle Loh – a stroke victim in his 60s who is being cared for by his aged mother who is in her 80s.
