Clearing illegal rubbish dump
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by the business community of Kota Sentosa Commercial area who complained of an illegal rubbish dump consisting of left over construction material in the vicinity of their shophouses which was not only unsightly but had become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and rats. Due to the irresponsible action of the shop owner, the matter was immediately brought up to the attention of the Enforcement Section of Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP), which then issued a compound summons to the shop owner who promised to clear the illegal rubbish dump within 14 days.

Following the request for assistance received, Wilfred Yap together with enforcement officers of MPP went to inspect and assess the situation. The matter of the blocked entrance was caused due to a misunderstanding and has been amicably settled.
