SUPP must recover all its seats in GE14
SUPP will strive to recover all of its lost parliamentary seats in the 14th general election (GE14) in order to make Sarawak strong again.
Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, SUPP President, said the party wants a stronger Sarawak and we don’t care what other people say. So we need to work hard for GE14, he said at the SUPP Youth Triennial Delegates Conference (TDC) here today.
Barisan Nasional Sarawak lost six of its 31 parliamentary seats in the 2013 general elections.
All the six fallen constituencies are held by SUPP. They are Bandar Kuching, Stampin, Sarikei, Sibu, Lanang (won by Democratic Action Party) and Miri (wrested by Parti Keadilan Rakyat).
SUPP has seven parliamentary constituencies and the only seat that it presently holds is Serian.
Dr Sim believed that by working together with their hearts and minds, they will make it.
